The fast growing metropolises
in the developing countries, with
a rising standard of living, face
serious congestions on their streets
due to increasing number of cars
as a consequence of development & due
to increasing number of residents.
DYWIDAG engineers have been involved
in construction of tunnels for
railways, vehicular traffic and
pedestrians since the first section
of the Berlin Metro was constructed
by DYWIDAG in 1897.
We are well known for constructing
tunnels using both tunnel-boring
machines (TBMs) and by applying
the New Austrian Tunnelling Method
(NATM).
Before tendering we make extensive
analyses of the subsoil conditions
which enable us to propose the
most suitable and cost effective
construction method.
